I’m Mary McFarling, the Women’s Missions & Ministries Team Leader for the Eastern Idaho Association. I’ve served as a volunteer on the Utah-Idaho WMU team in a variety of positions most recently as the WMU President. It’s been exciting to see God’s leading as we’ve transitioned into the Women’s Missions and Ministries Resource Team with the vision for all women to be “Alive in Him, giving fully of ourselves for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.”

My goal is to connect the women in Eastern Idaho with the resources and opportunities available to help us grow and develop in the areas of prayer, discipleship, evangelism and missions. Our key scripture Colossians 1:9-14 is my prayer for the women of Eastern Idaho. That we “may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that we may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”

I am Renee' Parsons from Emmanuel Baptist in Hyrum, UT, and am the Associational Women's Missions and Ministry consultant for the Golden Spike Association. My husband Rob is pastor at Emmanuel, and I am the women's director there. I attended Southland Bible College in Ashland, KY, and received my degree in religious education from Andersonville Baptist Seminary in Camilla, GA.

I have been in the professional ministry with my husband for 12 wonderful years, and I have been involved with associational and state convention leadership since 2002. At that time, I worked with the Florida Baptist Convention as an "Assist" team member, teaching at conventions on children's ministry, youth and adult Sunday school, and vacation Bible school. I worked with the Santa Fe River Association and the FBC until Rob and I moved to Hyrum, UT in October of 2005.

My passion is for Godly women to rise up in truth and usefulness. I am priviledged to be your servant and your sister in Christ.
