Judy Baker is the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director/Treasure of Utah-Idaho Southern Baptist Convention.

As a college student in Tennessee, I spent my summer months as a Southern Baptist Summer Missionary in the west desert of Nevada. We, twelve students and supervisors, built a church on the Paiute Indian Reservation seventy-five miles north of Winnemucca, Nevada, under the supervision of NAMB’s Rev. Lavern Inzer. Now, many, many years later, my husband, Brett (once a cowboy in Nevada, turned city-slicker) and I have three wonderful children, two adorable granddaughters, one cat, and two dogs.

It amazes me that when we allow God to control our life it can be so full, exciting, and adventurous. I know God is in control of my life for He led me to UISBC where I started working March 2004. Thank you God for leading me to work with some of the most dedicated people on your planet...
