After serving as pastor of First Southern Baptist
Church of Salt Lake City, and its cross-cultural ministries, for
24 years, Eric Frye was called to the staff of UISBC in September,
2002. He is the conventions consultant for Cross-Cultural
and Ethnic Ministries and Chaplain Ministries. He is married to
Carolyn, and they have two grown sons, and five grandchildren. Natives
of Alabama, the Fryes have served in the West since 1968; have pastored
in Alabama, New Mexico, and Wyoming; and were HMB Navajo Missionaries
in the Teec Nos Pos, AZ/Four Corners area (1971-1976). Eric also
served UISBC as state convention president; elected to two terms
(2000-2002).
