The Disaster Relief Ministry of the Utah-Idaho Southern Baptist Convention working with Eastern Idaho, Magic Valley, Golden Spike, Salt Lake, and Color Country Associations Disaster Relief teams is ready to respond to the ministry needs of disaster victims in Utah and Idaho and across our nation whenever a disaster strikes. We are ready to respond a five feeding unit, three clean up and recovery units, a shower unit and a communication unit. We have 422 volunteers that are trained in Disaster Relief and are ready to serve in times of disaster.

Our feeding unit is capable of feeding up to 5,000+ meals a day and our volunteers are trained to provide nutritious meals in both low and high volume feeding.

Our clean-up and recovery units are equipped with power equipment and chainsaws for debris removal, mud-out, and temporary repairs to damaged homes. Our volunteers are trained in the proper use of this equipment for a safe and efficient disaster relief response.

Our communication unit is currently being built and volunteers trained. It will be equipped to set up temporary communications across a disaster area to provide logistical and tactical communications for our disaster relief units.

Our Shower/laundry unit is equipped with all the equipment needed to provide hot showers and laundry facilities.
