Chaplains

The Chaplain Ministry brings compassionate ministry into the context of personal or collective crises. Specifically trained and prepared individuals are able to touch other individuals or groups of people being impacted by the circumstances of personal crises, emergencies, or unexpected change. Specialty chaplain contexts are: Military, Marketplace & Corporate, Healthcare & Hospice, Public Safety, and Disaster Relief.

Are you interested in chaplaincy? Here are some ways that we can assist:

  • Help your church or association understand the mission and purpose of the chaplain ministry.
  • Support and assist in the preparation, qualification and endorsement of Southern Baptists who sense a call to chaplaincy.
  • Partner newly-called chaplains to the North American Mission Board for training and endorsements.
